AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURE: Friends, making a quality Loloho video is kind of like making sausage โ€“ only slightly more violent. It’s a ridiculous amount of work that typically involves high dollar camera drops, blue-screen-of-death computer crashes, and at least one angry shotgun wielding old man shouting, โ€œHey! Get the hell outta here!โ€ Once the final video is posted, rewards here on YouTube are few and far between (unless you are a masochist who enjoys being verbally abused by anonymous trolls). One saving grace is our affiliate links. JUST CLICKING THESE LINKS HELPS TO SUPPORT OUR LITTLE SHOW. Think of this clicking as like tipping – except that it doesn’t cost you anything extra! If you eventually make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we will receive a few pennies (and Sean typically invests these pennies in duct tape and video gear). Again, it doesn’t cost you anything to click these links, and it’s a great help to us. As always, safe travels, happy camping, and THANK YOU!

Angela Raymond says:

I have one of those vicious little chihuahuas also, but love him so much.

William Lingenfelter says:

Thanks Sean & Kristy & Nealys! You guys imparted a wealth of knowledge. I was really glad to hear about the temp sensor. My 13 y/o Boston doesn't do heat very well, and I am always concerned that the AC will go out on a hot day. I'l definitely be implementing some of your ideas! LoLoHo!

David Leder says:

We always leave a radio on when we leave our little dog in our airstream . It masks all the sounds going on in the campground !

Bea, Honey dog and me says:

Great information. I had never heard of those sticker things that got Shorty's paw in a bad way. I'm in NM and I haven't been warned about them. I guess I need to start asking. We have tons of Goatheads which are bad enough. (Look like a spiky virus cell under a microscope. Gnarly, nasty stuff.) Anyway, I'm glad she brought up camping in CT cause it's true. I'm from there and there is zero camping with dogs. Even though you can bring a dog or more than one dog to their park for a day picnic, you can not take them to the campground. CT sucks, my friends.

Cyn says:

Forgot to say – awesome video – lots of good info!!

Cyn says:

Benedryl Info –
Normal dose = 1mg per pound of weight up to twice daily.
Emergency Dose or extreme sinus allergy issues, give a double dose – 2mg per pound of weight – up to twice daily.

Example – under vet's direction at emergency hospital.
My Belley loves to play with bees and gets stung often. Once she got stung by 5 bees of which 2 were inside her mouth. Her entire head, throat and tongue blew up like a balloon and she got welts all over her body. I immediately gave her a double dose of benedryl, then we headed to emergency vet – he gave her an injection of steroids and benedryl. (he knew she had received double dose of benedryl 30 min before seeing him). After emergency care the Vet had her take double dose twice daily and when she looked almost normal, then reg dose twice daily. When she was herself again – we stopped giving it to her.

Oh yeah – vet suggested giving liquid benedryl (NO xylitol sweetner) in emergencies since it is absorbed into the bloodstream quicker. Xylitol is VERY toxic to dogs & well known to cause death.

Hope I didn't go on too long as I tend to do. It comes from being an admin for 3 years for 3 sharpei and one all-breed Facebook groups. I'm not a vet – but share what I've learned over many years. I always suggest to speak to a vet about using benedryl for on the road emergencies!! Blessings to all!!

Richard Warner says:

After a call from the campground about lights being turned on and our windshield shade being raised, we found a wooden drawer divider in Bed, Bath & Beyond that's about 6" x 15". Turned upside down, it perfectly covers the air brake and control panel switches in our class A.

Erik van Ginkel MD says:

we will be traveling with our 2 cavapoos anybody know what harness to use while driving in the tow vehicle?

Michael Lowrey says:

How does the Samsung camera work at NIGHT? I have a old cellphone and app Alfred. Good during day but not at NIGHT unless lights are on.

Sharon Reinblatt says:

No one mentioned having a copy of their vaccinations. We were required to prove our dogโ€™s shots were up to date at a KOA (sorry, donโ€™t remember which one). Especially important if you are going to travel into Canada.

Jody's Journey says:

Good info. As he said, I am planning to RV BECAUSE of my pets and if that means adjustments, so be it. Itโ€™s good to hear that itโ€™s not too much hassle though.

A&A RVTravels says:

We have dogs and cats. They seem to develop a slight hearing problem when they sneak out. We do make use of area dog parks.

Kitten O says:

We purchased our current fifth wheel because of the floor plan. It has two hallway closets which were the perfect place for a litter box. We made only two modifications, adding a door for our cats to go through while the main door was closed and removing the lower shelf to accommodate the litter box. We have traveled for many years with pets and this was, by far, the best set up. The litter box is hidden and away from the living and sleeping quarters. The remaining shelves serve as storage for pet supplies and paper products. We currently camp with our two 17 year old cats and a four year old Great Pyrenees.

Roy Davis says:

Traveling with a Rottweiler mix can keep you out of some private campgrounds. If recommend to full timers using Banfield Veterinary Clinics located at many Petsmarts. Your pets medical records are keep on the company servers and can be pulled up at any of their locations. We leave our dogs in our Motorhome that has three AC units with the generator set to start if the power goes off and the inside temps go above a preset temperature. 1 AC can run off the batteries.

Richie Rich says:

Jake looks like a trouble maker, Disney for dogs!

Jim Pratt says:

We've been waiting for this – great advice, thank you! We've also started following Nealys on Wheels.

slagcat says:

Where did you find what you are holding your little dog in? I'd like to get one for my little Chihuahua too!

David Smith says:

Thank you Sean & Kristy!
