September is a great time to travel and here are 5 of our top picks for the month.
New York in September is perfect, with the heavy crowds of tourists dispersing, and the weather being lovely but not unbearable.
We recommend taking Manhattan from an upper level by walking the mile and half New York highline, and then swinging by Upper East side to spend the afternoon in the The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
September in Ibiza is hugely popular for it’s ‘End of Season’ closing parties! The party spirit’s still in the air, and temperatures are in the early and mid-twenties. Ibiza offers some truly unmissable events at some of the most famous venues from Pacha, to Amnesia, to the House of Madness!
The week of the 20th sees Designers showcasing their Spring Summer 2018 collections. Milan is no stranger to being a stylish capital, so in between the shows why not head to Gallerie Vittorio Emanuele the 2nd for all your designer shopping needs.
On September 28th, Prague celebrates its Patron Saint, St Wenceslas! The St Wenceslas Market runs from the 14th, and is known for its quirky wooden huts selling jewellery, local handicrafts, and of course, loads of traditional food. It’s the perfect place to sample local pastries, Czech beer, and hot mulled wine before exploring the stunning capital. Don’t forget to visit the famous Charles Bridge, and the Astronomical Clock.
From the 16th of September grab your best Lederhosen and head to Munich for the annual Oktoberfest! This celebration of culture and beer saw over 5.6 million visitors last year, and it’s expected to rise this year! With competitions, camping, plenty of different beers, and food it’s really an experience not to be missed!
