You could've gotten čevapčići, the best ones in Split at Paulina for just 32 kunas per 10 pieces. The 95 kn price you paid is a rip-off.

You have to take into consideration though – it's summer, first off – second – the way you travel you are almost always paying tourist prices – you could cut those prices in two or even three if you live longterm or like a local…..just saying – that goes for everywhere, basically – in Asia – cut by five……:-)

Croatia can be really expensive,especially if you eat in restaurants at main squares, streets as owners tend to overprice everything and live whole year based on 3-4 summer month income. As you go deeper in Croatia mountain part ,Zagreb and even further away its 3 or 4 times cheaper than this.
